Recently I had the honor of photographing this amazing family for a beach sunset session in Southern Connecticut. I couldn’t think of a more beautiful way to end the month of August as this family holds a very special place in my heart. The strength and bond of this husband and wife team goes way beyond words and is a relationship I’ve had the privilege of knowing and seeing grow from the beginning as two, and now as an incredible family of three!
If you know them, then you probably already know that their friends and family mean the absolute world to them and would travel around the country just to make sure they were there to celebrate a special occasion or family reunion. They bring so much love and happiness to everyone they meet, just being around them is the absolute best, cracking jokes and laughing so hard your stomach hurts!
In the early days when they were dating and engaged, they would fly between Hartford and Chicago to see one other as their jobs were in different cities. Never a complaint, always so positive and excited for the next adventure and extended weekend together. Their appreciation for life and togetherness is something they have had from the very beginning and it carries over so naturally into how they are as parents and how they are raising their beautiful daughter, who will be turning three this year! She is a true reflection of her parents, so full of curiosity, energy, and excitement for everything around her! Her little laugh is infectious and warms your heart with her amazing personality!
It made me so happy to see them enjoying their special time laughing, singing, and sharing in this experience together before their fall travel schedules pick up soon. They savored this night as the sun set and the tide rose in, they ran barefoot in the sand, counted seagulls, and appreciated the simple joys of what being together as a family means in all its beauty. For them, this was a chance to create a new family memory.
