There is nothing more humbling than being invited into a family’s home to preserve the first few weeks of new life. The tiniest of hands and feet all cuddled up in your arms and fitting just right in the palm of your hands.
When I first met this beautiful mother, Carrie Ann back in May, she was expecting her new little love to arrive at the end of July. I was so excited to photograph this beautiful family of now four for the first time after welcoming their adorable son to the world, so incredibly special!
Tim and I go way back, knowing each other from high school so it was so much fun to reconnect after all these years. We laughed thinking back to the good old days at Northwest Catholic! It was great to see him now as a loving husband and a father to two amazing boys!
It was such an honor to be invited into their lives to document their growing family. Seeing the pride and joy on Tim and Carrie Ann’s faces as they held and looked at their newborn son was so beautiful. What really had my heart in a puddle was watching their older son comfort his little brother throughout our session by singing him the sweetest songs…such a great big brother! I adored our time together so very much!
