During their family session last August, they had yet to receive the exciting news that they were expecting their second baby girl. Shortly after their session, I will never forget receiving the phone call from my loving friend sharing the happy news as she told me how those photographs will always hold that much more meaning knowing their sweet girl was with them all along.
Photographing families in all their seasons, as they grow and evolve is where I feel the most alive as a photographer. Knowing that someday when their youngest baby girl grows, they will all look back at those summer beach photographs when they were three and show her what life was like in the weeks right before finding out she would be joining their family.

I have joyfully celebrated many of this couple’s career and life milestones throughout our decade of friendship and seeing them grow from a family of two to now a family of four is an indescribable gift.
Watching them holding and staring with at their one week old baby girl, so perfect and tiny, fitting so comfortably in their arms, and seeing their oldest as a big sister was the sweetest melody of peace and grace to witness. What an honor it was to capture this beautiful mother of two and to preserve this special time for their family. Sweet Corinne, I can’t wait to watch you grow, watch you learn and love.
