I have had the complete pleasure of photographing this amazing family for three seasons and with each year, I value this dedicated time for them more and more. Enjoying quality family time together is most important and their portrait sessions are becoming a wonderful opportunity to savor these passing days that they treasure so much for them to remember always.
Scattered throughout their home are framed photographs from our past sessions, artwork that acts as timeless reminders of how precious each year is with each season that passes. There are stories being shared with each framed picture and family moments being preserved for a lifetime.
As their youngest baby girl recently turned one, it was time to celebrate this joyful milestone…and for big sis to show her how it’s done!
Behind the scenes story- As soon as we got started, their oldest daughter requested we capture a similar photograph that we took two years ago on this very same beach with her favorite guy. “Now daddy you hug me, ” as she directed. You may recognize this image shown below on the homepage of my website. It’s a personal favorite of mine and a photograph (now two photographs) I am so happy she will have when she looks back at her childhood memories.
Beyond thankful to play a small part in preserving these memories for my dear friends. Here are some of my favorites from their summer sunset beach family session photographed on the Connecticut shoreline.
